Hello, the dear guest of my page!

My name is Ekaterina (or simply Katya). I live in Russia, in the city called Saratov (it means something like "yellow mountain", but actually we do not have any yellow mountains here :)).

In my childhood I used to say: "When I grow up, I will never be an economist or an accountant, this is too boring!". And now I am 27, and I work as an accountant for a printing company. With this job every day is full of surprises, so sometimes I wish it would be as boring as I thought when I was a child :)

My hobby is sleeping, and dreaming, and reading, and drawing, and singing, and watching movies, and studying foreign languages for no purpose (now I study Japanese because I like how kanji look). I am absolutely hopeless in cooking, I am a real kitchen disaster.

I am a fan of Dutch and Japanese architecture (I like strange, unusual houses), windmills and lighthouses. I also like mysterious things, Saturn and Neptune planets, flamingos and penguins, Beatles and paintings of Jacek Yerka and Rene Magritte.

If you're going to send me a postcard - I'll be happy to receive any postcard, seriously. Please, just write a couple of words for me, something about yourself, or your city, or what you are currently thinking about. This will make the card very special for me!
