Hello, my name is Sofya, I'm a PhD student and study fluid mechanics. I live in Siberia, Russia, and my hometown Krasnoyarsk is located on the wide and powerful Enisey River.

I like retro films very much, especially black-and-white ones, and retro and rock music. My major hobbies are reading, studying languages, knitting. I'm also fond of art (especially the pictorial art) and history in all their manifestations. And, sure, I like travelling.

It's nice to learn interesting things about different countries not only from special books or the Internet. You can tell me something interesting about your place :-)
