My name is Nela, I currently live in Switzerland. I am a mom of the cheekiest kid in the world! =)

I love winter and all things wintery. My favourite book is Neil Gaiman's 'Neverwhere',my favourite author is currently Jo Nesbø, my favourite place ever is London <3, favourite drink: Rivella, favourite TV show: Sherlock, The Good Wife, Boardwalk Empire, favourite bird: owl, favourite activity: writing postcards!

I register postcards within 1 day from the moment I receive them (unless I'm away on vacation). Feel free to contact me when your card is not registered in a reasonable time.

This is my request to you:

First of all: WRITE to me! Write about anything and everything! Don't forget time/date. Please, don't leave the blank space, I hate the blank space on a postcard... I like the postcards to be handwritten and stamped - marks and scratches only add to the character. I always send out beautiful stamps and I like to receive special stamps as well.

I'll be overjoyed if you send me a postcard with one of those themes:
☆ Anything to do with winter. Winter, winter, WINTER! Frost and snow! And ice! (not the hugest fan of mountains, though). I also like fog, rain, gloomy weather.
☆ Mini Cooper for my son, Native Americans for my man.
☆ Owls, storks, cardinals, (in general birds) - my dream is receiving an Eurasian Hoopoe on a postcard. Hedgehogs, snails.
☆ Multiples, Atelier Nouvelles.
☆ Pettson and Findus, Inge Löök, the cursing hedgehog (translate please!), Duane Bryers' Hilda, Jip & Janneke.
☆ Trees (esp. a single tree upon a hill, tree tunnels), pathways, gardens, meadows, wild flowers.
☆ Windmills, watermills, fans, bridges, lighthouses.
☆ City at night. I prefer single view, with few names/inscriptions and possibly no people).
☆ Cards related to books, reading and writing, drawing and painting.
☆ Babies, children, elderly people, people from other cultures (wearing traditional clothes).
☆ Postcards with coffee or recipes for all kinds of food. (Feel free to write me your favourite recipe!)
☆ Christmas/New Year/other holidays cards (when the time comes).

If you have time to take a look at my favourites, you'll get a pretty clear idea of what I like (they are a kind of my wish-list *wink, wink*). Send me something from that list and I will send you something back! =)

If I may ask, please DO NOT send me those kind of postcards:
- Touchnote cards (or other internet generated cards, eeeww...),
- anime/manga,
- religious,
- X-rated, offensive cards,
- cute, romantic,
- and especially not with cute animals.

If you don't have any of the cards that suit my preferences, just send me a card you would love to receive yourself. It's important that you take your time to read my profile, write something on the card, go to the post office and so on. For me that's what postcrossing is really about!
