Hello postcrossers

Postcrossing is for me a nice way to keep in touch of the world around me. I am an elderly woman (79yrs) with 3 adult sons, 3 daughters in law and 7 grandchildren between 5 and 22 yers old.I cann't walk anymore (just 100mtrs) but I am very busy with writing.Postcards and little stories. And helping foreign students with speaking dutch.

I am living alone in a village near Leiden,a town with an old university(1575).In my working life I was a chemical analist for 30 years. And I liked it. Afterwards I did my masters for social gerontology and worked for and with elderly people.

I like cooking for my children or guests. I like reading newspapers and seeing a documentairy on t.v.I like classic music and music of the fifties and sixties as well.
When you write me a postcard please tell me what you are doing, tell me about your way of living or about the village or town where you live in.I am interested in the people behind the cards.
Cards with Photographs of your town or village are wellcome too. I like every card but handmade cards I have seen to much.I am allready glad when you take the time to write me a postcard.
