Hello^^

I am a Lithuanian woman living in Japan with my Japanese husband, our 6-year-old and 2-year-old daughters and a miniature pinscher^^Currently I stay at home to take care of my daughter, but I used to teach English. I majored in English philology, but I still need to improve my English skills a lot. However, I enjoy teaching and I would like to experience living and teaching in different Asian countries someday, maybe as a volunteer.
I love corresponding(especially snail mail) and this passion started when I was about 13. I also love travelling so much. Even though I would love to visit every country of our amazing world, I have been hopelessly in love with Asia^^Another hobby of mine is cooking, even though I am a beginner and not good at it yet. I also like to try other countries' food and learn about culinary traditions. Recently I have been learning about Indian spices and making curries(I love Indian food)^^
I love to learn about different countries and cultures, so, if possible, I would be very happy to receive a card with:

*portraits of local people
*daily scenes of your country
*special place/building/animal/plant/tradition of your country, etc.
I prefer photographs to pictures. I would be grateful if you could choose beautiful stamps. If you don't mind, please tell me about your country's food: traditional dishes, the dish you like the most, local delicacy, etc. Or please share your special recipe^^Please tell me if there is a special custom or belief concerning child rearing in your country or kindly give me a piece of advice from your parenting experience.
