Hi,

I am Alexander and I am living at the eastern border of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) in a small village a the river Neckar. My birthtown is Hamburg in the north of Germany, but now for 18 years I am located here in the southwest. My hobbies are going out taking pictures of nature, railroad big and small, animals; working in the garden with it's goldfish pond and delivering tasty food to my two cats. I love cats and since 2008 there are one, two or three cats around me.

In my free time I love to read books about all sort of stuff. Star Trek is a great pleasure to me, Clive Cussler's work, but also Martin Walker or Peter Mayle and their books about living in the Perigord or the Provence.

Because it is nearby, I love to travel to France, Alsace/Lorraine are reachable in two hours and sometimes it goes southwards to the mediterian sea, the Provence. Since i knew the books of Peter Mayle this is a place on earth, where I like to be. Switzerland is also a target to visit, when I need to see "real" mountains or cheese or Toblerone :-)

If you nee some suggestions, what so send, here are some proposals: trains, stations, Metro web, Airplanes, Cats and animals from/at the water or for my little niece Mariana: fire trucks or unicorns :-)
