Hi everybody!

My name is Madeleine, I'm 26 years old and I live in Leipzig, Germany. I'm studying civil engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Leipzig and I'd love to get to know more about the world and the people living on it. I don't have much free time, so sometimes there are periods when I can't write any cards, but I always register the received ones the same day.

My hobbies are singing, reading, doing handicrafts, playing videogames (like WoW, Diablo 3, Neverwinter, …) and I often watch Let’s Plays or Streams instead of playing myself. I also like playing badminton, table tennis and volleyball, and sometimes I go jogging to free my mind. Actually I’m a really creative person and I have thousands of ideas and thoughts every day, want to do too many things at the same time, but because I don’t have the time, I spend it with thinking about it when I’m lying in bed at night. Strangely enough, it makes me kind of happy and it stops me from starting countless things without ever finishing it. Maybe you can give me something interesting to think about in a sleepless night? :)

After nearly one year at Postcrossing it's time to refresh my list of favorite cards a bit, so here are some tips which cards i'd really love to receive from you:

My favorite animals are tigers and sheep and I also like polar bears, elephants, squirrels and any kind of wild animal babies. I love colorful, funny and cartoon cards (e.g. famous cartoon figures from your country like moomin, snoopy, the smurfs, garfield,...) and cards with a lot of details. Colorful map cards, painted city views (especially comic style) and famous buildings are favored, too. Cards from Star Trek would be really awesome and a big suprise for my boyfriend who's a real "Trekkie". Furthermore I like self-made cards (painted or designed and printed on the computer, but no photographs of e.g. flowers or butterflies and please no touchnote-cards ;)).

These are only hints in case you need an idea. Be creative. Any cards will be appreciated. :)

Don't send postcards in envelopes to me, please. I'd like to receive only real postcards (standard size if possible) with a real stamp and a text written by you. You may write something about you, the place where you live or whatever you would like to tell me, e.g. what you’ve done last weekend, something about your favorite song, your hobbies or your profession and why you chose it, or maybe think of where you see yourself in 10 or 20 years. :)
