About Saskia...

Hello everyone!

Welcome to my profile! My name is Saskia, I'm 30 years old and living in Leiden, the Netherlands. The past years have been so busy that I didn't have time for Postcrossing, but now my life is somewhat more quite, so I can finally pick it up again :D

I'm working as a programmer. In the past I've studied veterinary medicine and physical therapy, but unfortunately I wasn't able to finish them for different reasons. A couple of years ago I signed up for the study Bio-Informatics and managed to graduate Cum Laude. I was more attracted to the programming part of the study, so after graduating I left the bio and went to find a job in informatics and I'm glad I did so, because I love the job I found!

Speaking of love... I got married at the 26th of July 2018!!! My husband and I were together for 10 years on the day of our wedding. It was a beautiful but extremely hot day: 36 degrees Celcius!! We haven't decided where to go to on our honeymoon yet, but it will probably take place in October or somewhere in the beginning of 2019.

I would love to travel around the world and see a lot of different places, but as long as I'm saving money to make this possible (a wedding is very expensive...), postcrossing is a good alternative ;)
So postcards with beautiful places on it will sure make me smile.
And if you have any suggestions where you think I should go (or tips on where to go to on our honeymoon), please let me know!

Here are some suggestions if you can't think of anything to write:
- put down your favourite recipe
- share a good/bad memory
- what is your favourite book/movie/music/musical?
- did anything important happen to you/in your country lately?
- teach me your language
- draw something

Would you please write the date you've send the postcard, and the temperature where you are on the card?
Envelope or not is up to you.

I'm looking forward to see your card in my mailbox!

Bye bye,
Saskia
