Hello everybody!

My Name is Sara and I live in a small town in Germany called Erkelenz. It's located in Nordrhein-Westfahlen, close to big cities like Cologne and Düsseldorf. I work as a nurse, which means changing shifts and sometimes a lack of free time. That is why I enjoy living in a small town, with friends and Family close by.
In my free time I try to spend as much time with my friends as I can and if I get the possibility to travel, I do. I especially love visiting big cities of different countries, for example I really loved Amsterdam, London or Barcelona.

A friend of mine told me about postcrossing, and I immediately wanted to try it out as I love receiving postcards and think of it as a great possibility to get greetings from all different kinds of countries and cities that you might not get to visit yourself some day.
I would prefer postcards that show your city or country with either famous tourist features, beautiful buildings, landscapes (I love the sea and beach views), photographies, arts, cards that have something to do with music or movies or have a vintage design. Holiday themes are also welcome. But if you pick your postcard with love I'm sure I will love it whatever its cover shows :)
I like personal notes so I would ask you to write something nice, like a personal motto, a quote that you like or a piece of your favourite song- anything that comes from the heart. And could you please write the date down that you sent your postcard? That would be nice.
