Hello! I am a Siberian young adult, Juliana. I love learning languages and cultures and I'm greatly inspired by the languages I teach and learn. Each year I start something new or just set off travelling. As a Tibetan proverb says, "a journey of a thousand miles begins with just a single step". I've visited England, Bulgaria, Turkey, Croatia, Roumania, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus, Montenegro, Kazakhstan and Kirgizia, Greece, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, San Marino, Luxembourg, Slovenia and even India, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam! I'm also studying music professionally - to become an opera singer one day :)

I believe that life is in the little things and try to cherish all the blessings and the wonders that everyday life can bring: a sunny day, an engrossing book, a hug from my friend, good food, delicious cake, soft toy...

I'm collecting beautiful cards and beautiful stamps.
Easter cards are more than welcome now!

Children. I adore angels, flower-fairies, penguins, lady-birds, swans, roses and music on the postcards. I'm inspired by inspirational cards. I'm really mesmerized by stereo-cards - they keep secret wonder in them.
I love children book illustrations (Moomin is my favourite). And then there are beautiful illustrations for children by Beatrix Porter or E.Shepard, or pictures of children by famous artists (like Virpi Pekkala for example), they really make me smile.
When I was in England I was mesmerized by flower fairies pictures, I can look at them for hours lost in admiration! Disney characters are also great.
If you have a card with children in national clothes, it would be cute!

Culture. I like amazing cultural sites - castles, cathedrals and beautiful architecture.
Lovely scenery too! Chinese mountains in fog or Grand Canyon mountains, lakes, ocean, anything that takes your breath away will make me happy. Traditional cuisine, great food photographs.
I like map cards with landmarks, they teach to learn the other culture fast. State cards from USA are welcome - my students will appreciate them a lot. As well as London, Royal family, royal weddings, royal kids.

Specialties from your country. I love children but once I got a card with old ladies by Inge Look from Finland and now I am collecting them :)

Inspiration. You can send me a card which has inspirational words in English or in your language. But no ads please - they make me sick, I see too much of them on my way to work.
I love the Chinese series of love cards with only one letter on them.

I don't really like ads, comic, strange and self-made cards (unless you draw beautifully). Once I got a strip of wallpaper and it made me so sad, it takes me hours and days to find a proper card for a person, whose address I drew, I want some respect too.

I wish all the postcards you are going to get will bring you happiness and warm feelings from all over the world!
