Hello postcrossing friends!

My name is Katja (short from Ekaterina). I am redhead and my miniature pinscher dog Ginger (11 y.o.) is ginger as well :) I also have a cockatiel parrot named Rony. As you can see, I love animals very much. I love them as much as I love learning foreign languages and perfect myself in my native Russian language. I live in Moscow and study linguistics here. Now I study German and learn Dutch by myself (I am also interested in Czech). They are both very similar and different at the same time and I really enjoy a company of this couple :) (sounds a bit crazy, I know)
I aim to become an interpreter in a few years.

Here are a few ideas for postcards I'd like to get the most:
- everything related to languages!
- pets and animals
- a piece of your life in some real pictures, drawings or postcards showing non touristic places
- art and creativity (I myself like knitting, cross stitching and sewing)
- strange and unusual postcards
- do you see a nice picture on a hard package of some goods? cut it for me out in a postcard format! I myself collect these kind of pictures, and dared to send it once ^^ I would love to receive such a postcard!
- something that you would like to receive, and I really mean that :) it would be a nice way to get to know you
- everything related to the world of Harry Potter
- romantic or atmospheric postcards
- bands and musicians (my favorite are: Blur, Coldplay, Lykke Li, U2, Enya, Blof, George Michael, Grimes, Radiohead, Queen, Tori Amos)
- movies and TV-series (my favorite are: Doctor Who, Twin Peaks, Sherlock, Firefly, Friends, Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother)

But every single postcard is unique and precious for me, and I'll be happy to receive any of your choice :)

Ik probeer jullie moedertaal te leren, en wil graag zo veel mogelijk lezen en schrijven. Dat zou heel mooi zijn, als je Nederlands in jouw brief gebruikt! Ook ben Ik erg blij iets over jouw land, tradities en, natuurlijk, taal leren. De verhalen van gewone leven vind ik ook heel leuk!
