About Olha...

Hello world!
I have been part of the postcrossing project couple of years back. After that due to highly increased social life I dropped off the postal map. To be honest I am no longer interested in receiving cards as such. However, I have a lot of postcards left and I would like to send them out as opposed to just tossing them. I used to live with my grandmother a while back and them I had to move to a another city for a job, so now she is a bit lonely. When I would get postcards she would get all excited like a child and ask where they came from, who is the person writing this. So I will be sending out postcards, but my grandmother will be the one receiving those.
She is 82 years old and going strong, she is very up to date and modern. Her name is Nadiya, translates as 'hope'. She is amazing person to be around, always creative and optimistic. She loves
movies
various cute animals
ART( she is big on art and she loves things like Monet or other artists from that period)
Historical cultural buildings from all over the world.
Dancers(ballet especially)
People from different cultures, traditional costumes
Beautiful scenery
or anything you think awesome old lady would like.

She speaks only Russian and Ukrainian, so that is a bit of an issue. If you speak any of those languages, just tell her something interesting or cultural.

If you speak any other languages I would appreciate if you could write her in English

My name is ..
I am from...
And possibly your occupation

She will get that, she know that much of English. If you would like to go an extra mile and use google translate and tell her something more, that would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for making my grandma's day.

Cheers,
Olha
