About Rugilė...

Hi! My name is Rugilė, I'm 21 years old and I study Scandinavian studies in Berlin, Germany. My hobbies are learning languages (recently I've started learning Dutch), reading books, watching series, collecting post stamps and travelling. I'm also interested in LGBTQ history and aviation. My biggest passion however is linguistics and Scandinavia/Northern Europe (hence my study programme!)
I also collect post stamps, if you have any stamps showing women, feminism (for example Lithuania recently put out a stamp celebrating women's right to vote) or LGBT history/art, I would be more than happy to receive them!

Here are my postcard preferences (not demands, of course):
• Landscapes, panoramic views of the cities (preferably not collages)
• Sightseeing and historical places
• Famous people from your country (esp. female)
• Famous inventions from your country
• Trains, planes, airports and anything related to it
• Subway trains and stations
• LGBT+
• Birthday cards in August and early September (28th August)
• If you want to, you can also send me a bus/train/public transport ticket or a coin from your country if you're not in Euro-zone. If there is a subway line in your city, I will be more than happy to receive a subway ticket/line map!

My languages: Lithuanian, English, German, Swedish (fluent). You may also write to me in Finnish and Dutch!
If you collect a certain type of cards/stamps or just want to have a pen pal, please let me know. I'm also interested in exchanging post outside the postcrossing project :)

Don't know what to write? Here are a few suggestions:
• Write the date and temperature of the day you are sending a postcard
• Tell me your name and its meaning, perhaps a story on how you got your name
• Have you ever visited Lithuania? Tell me about your experience :)
• What is the most famous/your favourite place in your city? What would you recommend visiting?
• Please write a few phrases in your language with a translation to English (or Lithuanian, if you are brave enough) or write the whole text in 2 languages. I'm really interested in learning languages so I would be really glad to learn more from native speakers. If your language has a different alphabet (Slavic, Asian languages), please include a transcription to Latin alphabet.
Happy postcrossing!
Rugilė :)
