About Irene...

Hello! I'm 35 and I'm mother of 2 great kids and an English teacher. I'm very fond of reading books which give some food for thought and can make me smile:)I think that any kind of art is supposed to make us better, make us smile and inspire us.

The things I'm fond of and cards with them are especially welcome:

- Harry Potter saga, Hunger Games

- Great Britain, its history, picturesque nature, town life. My dream is to visit the UK and I hope one day it will come true.

- Disney Land and cartoons (especially Lilo and Stitch, Frozen, Cars, Tangled, Toy Story)

- sea wildlife, underwater world

- maps!(Postcrossers from the USA, I've got map cards of the states Virginia,Oregon,Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania,North Carolina, Washington, California, Maine, Minnesota and New York, and would like to get more such ones if you will help me)

-cards connected with some books, having maybe some quotes

-beautiful buildings

-planes, boats and ships

- Christian cards

- beautiful paintings (Oscar-Claude Monet, for example) and sculptures. But no naked people and abstract things, please!
And I don't like pin-up cards either

-"Keep calm and..." cards

-mermaids, fairies, princesses, unicorns

-nice fairy-tale illustrations

-vintage postcards

-dancers

You can write anything on it...Your life motto, what made you smile last time, what impressed you last....anything!) or maybe the name of your favorite book or a quote from it and why you like it) Maybe some good joke:) or some good advice you got once and which turned out to be very useful. And write what your name means if you know it!

I don't mind cards in envelopes...they are even more mysterious!:)and there's one more reason for it. More and more cards that I get come to me a bit damaged. So, I think an envelope might save them a bit. But it's up to you)

P.S.:Please, write your ID legibly. Sometimes it's difficult to read.
