Yay! You're here! I hope you're doing well.

Can I tell you a little bit about myself?
I live in the southwest of Germany.
And I love
books (mostly romance, children's books & non-fictional),
art (I'm actually an art historian),
beautiful illustrations (at the moment I'm head over heels for the artists you can find here: http://www.lillarogers.com/ and here: http://www.jennifer-nelson-artists.com/)
traveling (New York and Florence are in my top 5),
photographing,
flowers,
nature (it's kind of a requirement for living in the middle of the Black Forest),
russian folklore and culture (I was born in Russia, in the Ural Mountains... it was still the RSFSR at that time though...man, I'm old... ha),
good movies about life and love (mostly french or indie...),
Goethe & Schiller,
my new art journal project,
stuff (pictures, quotes, books, music...) that make you question things,
soul food,
and so much more.
But most of all I love my one year old boy (and his Daddy of course).

I stumbled upon Postcrossing on Instagram and instantly fell in love with the idea. I love beautiful Postcards and have even collected them as a kid. So here I am...!
