Hey people of the world!
I’m Elena and I’m so much happy that I joined postcrossing! It’s such a great experience! Well, I guess that if you are here reading it, you must understand me =)
What else? I’m from Ukraine, pretty country with amazing landscapes. And my city… need confess, I’m a little bit crazy about it. I can walk alone watching it for hours, I swear. Such an awesome place, our pearl of the Black Sea, our Odessa. If you get interested, just send me a message here and I’ll show you bunch of pictures of my city! So you gonna understand my passion. ^^
Ah yea, in future I’m gonna be an interpreter, so I study different languages. I have two native languages, Ukrainian and Russian, and speak both. Also know English, Japanese, some of French. And trying to learn Brazilian Portuguese. So as you see, I like languages, cultures and such things. It would be great if you write something to me using your native language with the translation.
Now is about preferences for cards.
All kinda cards are welcome! And here’s some things I really like =)
First, I’m in love with cups, mugs, tea sets… absolutely crazy about them, just a maniac. Then cards with tea, coffee, different sweets and cakes would make me happy.
I love reading, so cards with libraries, books, some book stores are awesome. I’ve already got some ^^
Cards with building like stations, cafes, skyscrapers, castles, bridges and would be great either.
Cards with people showing human beauty are perfect too.
Then I love heart-shaped things <3
And here’s one more special thing. I have one dream... but it’s a secret so don’t tell it to anybody, okay? I really wanna see polar lights. Northern lights, merry dancers, aurora borealis, aurora australis… no matter how they call it, I really wanna see it with my eyes. And I will some day ^^ So cards showing this incredible phenomenon would make me really happy!
Buut, gonna repeat again, all kinda postcards are welcome! And please, don’t let it empty, it makes me sad. Write something about yourself. It can be anything, whatever you want. Like who you are and from where you are, your hobby, your dreams, favorite food, movie, song or poem, place etc. Or you can tell me something about the place where you live. Everything will make me smile!
If you send me a card in an envelope, you can add smth more, like a pocket of tea or even a page from the morning newspaper. It would be such a pleasure to find such a little surprise!

And the last thing I wanna say is huge huge thanks for everybody who joined this service, send postcards and makes people happy. We are making our world better, don’t you think so? =)
