About Raimonda...

I have been a member now for eight year and thoroughly enjoying postcrossing! I have received so many beautiful cards , I appreciate them all and look forward to opening my mailbox to receive your postcard. Many post crossing people really go out of their way to send beautiful and special cards - thank you so much!

Hello! Labas!
My name is Raimonda, I'm 60 y.o., a math teacher. I live and work in a small village, with my husband Henrikas (he is a fireman). Our adult daughters (and grand childs) live in Scotland and Singapore. But we have Skype, WhatsApp and we can communicate every day, thanks God for that (and some intelligent people, of course ) :)
My hobbies beyond postcrossing include: reading (my fav.writer now is Jo Nesbo), gardening ( we have a large garden and growing our own vegetables, fruits, flowers ), traveling . I visited many countries in Europe, also Singapore. Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia (my avatar picture was taken in Margaret River city, AU)...and my biggest dream is to visit USA.
And I play in our village's theatre group, it's a new experience and I enjoy it!
I like music-The Beatles, Queen, ABBA, Sting, Rod Stewart and so on, and I still play my vinyl record collection (the '70-ies and '80-ies) with my old record player .

Since Christmas is coming, in November, December I'm already LOOKING FORWARD TO CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR POSTCARDS. Tell me how your own Christmas or New Year festival looks like: where do you celebrate it, what are your feelings during this time of the year, what are your must-eat dishes on the holiday table - anything that comes into your mind when thinking about Christmas.

Cards I'm collecting:
- black&white photos,
- pictorial maps and icons of countries,
- cards connected with school,
- old people,
- painted women and girls,
- fairies&angels,
- drawing flowers,
- details of spring, summer, autumn, winter,
- wonderful gardens and garden motives like plants, fruits, vegetables, flowers, watering can etc.
- trees and meadows in blooming,
- cards depicting food, kitchen, cooking, recipes, sweets,
- keep calm...
- firemen and fire trucks (for my husband),
- any cards in my favorites. These are cards I don't have but would love to receive.

If you can't find this cards, never mind, please show me native nature of your country(beautiful landscapes, flowers, birds, animals...).
And if you bought spare viewcards from your vacation or travel, feel free to send one, I'm happy as long as card shows me the most beautiful scenery or sights in our planet.

I don't mark as favourite cards that I've already got. But that doesn't mean that I don't like them!
Write me your favorite quote, proverb, saying...or write about your memories of the math;)
Beautiful & special stamps are appreciated.
