About PinkJelly...
(I have moved from this address.)
Hi there!
I'm Enci from Budapest, Hungary. And I like pink! :D Every shade... and every bit!
You can check out my favourites to get the idea:
http://www.postcrossing.com/user/PinkJelly/gallery/favourites
I will be happy with even a tiny bit of pink you send me!
****** Oh I'm getting such great cards!!
Thank you!!!! ******
If you can't find a card, you can make me one!
Self-made is encouraged in any form (drawing, painting, cutting, glueing etc.) This way, it's almost impossible that you couldn't find something pink to send :))))
I love "Pink & Grey" together - I usually dress this way!
(Galahs in Australia do too :)
I also like free cards, in case you can pick up a nice one somewhere for me!
Ideas for you:
* candies / cakes
(especially cotton candy, swirl lollypop, cupcakes)
* plastic things
(bathing caps, boots, umbrellas)
* lights
(city lights / ad lights, fireworks, sunset / sunrise)
* women or children
(wearing pink clothes, make-up, accessories)
* flowers / fruits
(especially tree blossoms, roses, berry fruits etc.
where there is not only one flower / fruit but many together)
* animals
(jellyfish, flamingo, galah, shrimp, salmon, coral, crab)
* surfaces / textures
(walls, textiles, paints, liquids, fumes etc.)
Colour tips:
* very pinks
* yellowish, orangish, redish...
(amazing canyon colours)
* purplish...
(plumes, grapes, lilac, hydrangea, mauve etc.)
* bright or dull / tints and shades
(you can see many pale pinks in my favourites
like my PinkJelly fish)
*****Just look for the pink and it will be there!***** :p
You will be surprised to find that you really have pink around!
For those of you who are a bit against pink:
This is the year of pink! "Pantone Color of the Year 2011" is Honeysuckle.
I would be happy to read your thoughts and feelings about
pink / colours on the card you send me!
But of course, you can write anything else instead.
******* No envelopes, please *******
I love the postcard format :))))))
Actually it's the journey (and all it takes) that makes a card into a postcard!
I love the stamps and all those little things on it, handwriting, even the worn out corners and all that happens to a card while it reaches me!
