I live with 2 funny cats, Lilli & Marcel and aquarium.
Hometown Joensuu is centre of North Carelia province, in east Finland. Mostly time goes with my friends and family.
I have studied Italian basic courses as a hobby, also studied in school few years Swedish and Russian, one year French and German.
I worked as librarian, now early pensioner :)

I like for example stories, owls, libraries, cats, history, chickens, lambs, food, different cultures, traditions, picture (tourist) card from your hometown, your homeland landscapes.
Each card I receive, makes me smile !
Anyway ad-cards or cards without date or signature are not my favourites.

Some common word of your language or manner of your country or culture would be nice to know. Or what is typical to Your hometown, event, festival, attractions, buildings, what you do your daily life (study, work, hobbies).
I can't scan received or sent postcards, so if you can, I would be happy.

I started postcrossing July 2015 and I'm so excited about this.
Travelling by airplanes or ships all over the world scares me and of course lack of enough funds prevent me to visit all around.
So postcrossing is suitable way to know people and daily living and cultures around the world.
