About Philis...

Stay safe, everyone! We can all do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We'll get through this together!

On 11/11/19, I sent my 1000th postcard, SG-314289!
On 14/11/19, I received my 1000th postcard, US-6343837!

I am:
-A linguaphile: I love languages! I can read basic French, German and Japanese (with furigana). Feel free to write to me in any of these languages, but please use simple vocabulary as I'm not very fluent.

-Singaporean Chinese: Despite having similar traditions to Mainland Chinese, we do not share the same history so I am unfortunately not knowledgeable in that aspect. We have four official languages and English is our first language.

I like:
-Astrology: I'm a Leo!
-Astronomy: I love beautiful postcards that show planets and stars, whether real or digital art
-Reading: Feel free to recommend any books you like!
-Tom and Jerry
-Cats!
-Harry Potter
-Horror movies: can't understand psychological horror though
-Mythical creatures of any kind: cute or scary!
-Pokemon
-Phantom of the Opera
-Playbills or old posters (advertisements, propaganda etc): I love the art style!
- If you are from Russia, I would I love cards featuring the statue 'The Motherland Calls' from Volgogard. The night view of it is amazing!

On 21 December 2016, I received my first repeat postcard! I'm officially a postcrossing veteran now!
12 October 2017: 2nd repeat card!
14 April 2018: 3rd repeat card!
14 June 2019: 4th repeat card!

*I'm collecting stamps to send to a cat shelter in the UK that will sell them and re-home cats. If you have USED stamps you don't need, you can send them to me! There must be a border of 0.5cm around the stamp. Thank you for helping the cats at https://www.catchat.org/index.php/support/postage-stamps-charity!

NOTE: I WILL ONLY REGISTER CARDS THAT I'VE RECEIVED.

*I do not scan cards, so please scan your postcard before sending if you want it on your wall!*

IMPORTANT: I keep my postcards in a box and any cards taller than 13.5 cm WILL NOT fit. Please try to send cards that are standard-sized or below 13.5 cm.
