My name is Peter and I live in Ransdaal, a small village in the very south of The Netherlands. I work as a male-nurser, but I am active as a poet as well. A somewhat unusual but nevertheless inspiring combination.
(and never a dull moment! :)
I used to correspond with people all over the world, sending handwritten letters and (view)cards, swapping things, but somehow corresponding slowed down and even seemed to be out-of-style. I think postcrossing is a perfect way to get in touch with people all over the world. I'm longing for that surprising and exiting feeling, not knowing what one will find in the mail box.
I have loads of hobbies and interests :) As far as I can remember, I've 'always' been involved in 'writing' in many ways. It started with corresponding and slowly I started writing poems. I've been a poet for about 30 years now !
I've issued some collections and also pointed out/discribed three 'official' poetical walkingroutes in the surroundings.
I collect 'old fashioned' ink-bottles (small, large, any will do) and 'old school' writing materials, like pens, (colour) pencils, booklets, and so on.
I'm interested in (local) history, archeology, monumental buildings like castles, churches, farmhouses, half-timbered houses...; architecture and art in general.
So surprise me with you card ! Thank you so much in advance :)
