Hi there,

we are a small family of three:
- Melanie
- Thomas (also active in the forum)
- Julia (born 2014)

We live in a city in the south of the Ruhr area, after moving back here from the area of Nuernberg / Nuremberg. Just re-starting postcrossing (April 2023) after some years of other priorities. But still (and again) up to interesting contacts / postcards from all over the world, always a good day when one receive a nice postcard in the mailbox!

Our favorite postcards show
- typical landscapes/sights of your country, especially the region where you live
- views of cities, especially aerial views
- UNESCO WHS
- national parks
- transportation themes, especially railroads / trains
- maps of any kinds
- geology / rock formations
- astronomy / space
- bonsai (for Thomas), animals (for Julia)
- non-Latin alphabets
- handmade cards with train maps, train tickets or similar
- an envelope with a train/transportation map
- an envelope with a front page of a foreign newspaper

Would be nice if you can tell us some things about you, what you do, how is life in your country, what is the current weather, what is currently in your news headlines etc.
