Moin (this means "Hello" in a special german dialect),
I am Paul and I work as a science teacher in Germany. A good friend told me about postcrossing and I like the idea to send and receive postcards from all over the world.
I live right at the North Sea. In summer we have a lot of tourists here, so we live at a place, where other people are on vacation.
Receiving postcards from all over the world is a little bit like visiting all this beautiful places. And I like the "analog", non digital part of this hobby. Reading real handwriting from real people on real postcards is a good way to calm down and slow down for a moment.

Which postcards I like most:
- astronomy and star stuff 🌟 (also Star Trek 🖖 and Star Wars)
- science stuff (for example cards from the collection: "Women in Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World" )
- Doctor Who
- historical stuff
- graveyards/cemetery
- strange and weird stuff
- long expose
- motorbikes 🏍
- fishing 🎣, fishes, sealife, aquarium
- wax seals
- melancholic stuff
- hipster stuff
- Greetings from... -cards (I have Switzerland, Czech Republic, Irland, Cyprus, USA, Germany)

But I like every other card you choose..... more or less 😀!
