About Uwe...

Hi all,
thanks for a minute to read this.
I am a 48 year old young man from Germany who loves to send and even more to receive post, and who is fed up from only receiving invoices and unpersonal emails!

I am most interested in (modern or retro) postcards with landscapes (forests) or coast lines, pictures that express some kind of loneliness (I always enjoy it to be alone in nature with my dog).

And then I really love postcards of old medieval or gothic castles or cathedrals/churches and foggy cemeteries, even better if they have a bit a sinister or spooky touch. I like these locations in reality too. I am generally interested in mystery and history, maybe that's why I love Ireland!?
I spent more than a decade of my life in that country and fell for the island, so anything connected to Ireland would be appreciated as well.

Apart of that, write onto that postcard what ever you'd like, discribe yourself, your family, what you like to do, the weather or anything else that comes to your mind! Unfortunately, the space on such a card is very restricted anyway.
Every postcard will be appreciated!!
I prefer single view postcards written and stamped, not in an envelope.
If you want you can write your nick onto the card so I can go to your profile before registering.
And now: WRITE :-))))))))))

Happy postcrossing!

Attention pls:

Since years I gather used or mint stamps, no matter from which country they come from, and from time to time I pass them on to a German charity organistion. The disabled ladies and gents there sort them, put them together as lots and sell them to collectors, to make a little bit of money. They do so since c. 1880 (!!!), and over the decades, they became real experts in terms of stamps! Now, I don't destroy my postcards and cut the stamps out, but if you have some stamps floating around at home and want to do good work, put them into an envelope and post them to me. My addy is: Uwe Gundmann , Käppelesberg 1 , 89537 Hohenmemmingen in Germany. Thanks folks!!! Receiving stamps from the other side of the planet will surely make them proud!
