Since February 2019 the book of life has changed layout, colours and stories over and over. I am disabled now and use an electric wheelchair outdoors - aka my Ferrari 😁. 27 Nov 2021 my beloved hubby passed away ( Leiv Arne, born Midsummer 1957) - still not used to life as a gay widower, I doubt I ever will. LA and I were joined at the hip. We had almost 40 years together, we met thanks to a cat that stayed with us for 14 years, and we were the first gay couple to get legally married in Stavanger, making headline news / local gay history. Fun and sweet memories!

Being terminally ill I don’t have a wishlist for cards. Just something beautiful/interesting/colourful. Only one thing: For 2024 I would love unwritten UNESCO WH sites in envelopes from those who can. Envelopes are welcome in general.

I am passionate about philately and music, and I love watching movies / series. I have a big schefflera on a rock, as well as a big palm - dracaena. Having lived here a year now (18 March) I have filled the apt with green plants and flowers whispering / shouting "Feed me Seymour" 😂 Remember Little Shop of Horrors?
After a "lifetime" in Stavanger, Norway's 4th largest city I have now moved a tad to the west and will spend the rest of my life in a lovely, quiet town by the sea, Tananger, population ca.7000. My home is near the harbour where the fishing boats come in. They sell shrimps and other goodies from the sea, I love seafood. There is a long pier perfect for me and my Ferrari, I'll just dress for any kind of weather. Believe me, we do have a lot of weather here! Having had cats almost my entire life I do love watching them, the birds and other animals when I'm outdoors. Long Live the Animal Kingdom!

Those of you with Netflix: The movies Toc Toc from Spain and Sei mai stata sulla Luna? / Ever been to the Moon? from Italy are two «must watch» movies. My fav. gay movies are Contracorriente / Undertow from Peru and God’s own Country from the UK. The song from God’s own Country is beautiful beyond words : The Days by Patrick Wolf. Do listen to it and read the lyrics, ending with: Won’t you meet me at the end of the days? Yes, I was born and raised on a farm on an island, walking home across the fields in the evening / being out at sea fishing for food and for the cats - I wondered if there was anyone out there feeling the way I did. And yes, there was… Now that I am in pain 24/7 it is good to remember that I was true to love and that I have loved and been loved all my life, man, cats and other animals.
