Hello,

I recently finished my MA in International Affairs and have moved back to my home province to start my career! My BA was in political science, history and African studies. My hobbies including reading, knitting, skating, cross-stitch, sailing, loose leaf tea, and watching TV shows. I sponsor two children through Compassion International, and I love corresponding with them as well.

I am not all that picky about the cards I hope to receive. Getting any kind of card is very exciting! But here are some of the types of cards I would be especially pleased to find waiting in my mailbox:

- Tourist cards (city scenes, main attractions etc.)
- History (a card commemorating an important event, person, or landmarks, old photos etc)
- Royals (I am a monarchist and love living in a country that still has a royal family, so if your country has a monarchy I would be very interested in postcards or stamps related to your royal family.)
- UNESCO sites
- Parliament buildings, legislatures, houses of government, political cards
- Art (famous art/paintings, local artists etc)
- Knitting or cross-stitch
- Animals (especially if the animals are special in your country)
- Christmas or Hanukkah themed postcards in November/December
- Birthday postcards in June
- Olympics
- Books, authors, reading, libraries
- Sherlock Holmes
- Landscapes and nature scenes

I am vegetarian, so my only serious request is that I would prefer you to please not send a postcard that features meat or hunting.

If you don't know what to write to me, any handwritten message will be awesome! I would love to learn interesting facts about your city/country/culture or a phrase in your language. Or it would be interesting to hear about what your day was like. I also love collecting quotes, so your favourite quote would be appreciated as well.
