I am a university math lecturer. I am originally from Ukraine, but currently live in Canada.
My big passion is Irish dancing, and I devote most of my free time to it.
I also have tons of hobbies: skiing, running, sewing, embroidery, crafts, languages, Ukrainian Easter egg painting, painting, travelling, reading (fantasy especially), medieval re-enactment.
I love photography, Celtic music, nature, writing letters and sending cards. Will be happy to make new friends with similar interests for further exchange of letters and building friendship.

-Medieval castles, fortresses, medieval knights, medieval re-enactment, swords, shields etc.
-Dragons
-Easter eggs, especially traditional Ukrainian ones (please no bunnies there)
-Beautiful mountain landscapes
-Misty/foggy landscapes
-Crocuses
-Traditional embroidery
-Anything Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth or Harry Potter related
-Anything Celtic
-Books, libraries, letters, quills, manuscripts, calligraphy
-Trains
-Owls
-Black cats
-Old houses, mostly peasant ones, gothic architecture, medieval buildings of any type
-traditional pottery: Ukrainian, Hungarian etc.
-realistic paintings of all of the above things (especially watercolours)

I'd be very glad to read something about you in your card. You can tell me about the card or about the place where you live, your hobbies and favourite things. Please write something interesting, don't just say "Happy postcrossing". Please write something in your language as well.

If your language is Ukrainian, German, Spanish, Russian or Italian, please write to me in your native language.

I would also love to see beautiful stamps on your card.

Якщо ви з України, то мені дуже подобаються різноманітні красиві українські марки з тими самими речами, що і в списку вподобань. Мені дуже подобаються листівки з українськими хатами (з музеїв під відкритим небом в Пирогові, Ужгороді, Львові та ін), а також українські замки (Меджибіж, Хотин, Кам'янець-Подільський та ін).

- free or advertisement cards,
- modern art, abstract art
- modern buildings, skyscrapers
- cars
- posters (except for LotR and Harry Potter)
- funny/humour cards (not that I don't have a sense of humour, but tastes can differ)
