I have been
repeating the same
mistakes in life for
so long now I may
as well call them
I have been asked by some why I do not pick favourite postcards. As I do not have any requests, I believe each Postcrosser has taken their time to chose a card for me. Therefore each postcard is a favourite :)
Things to Ponder -
Where do missing Postcards go? Are they like missing socks? You put an equal number of socks in the washing machine and/or dryer but an odd number come out. Where did the sock go?
For the Postcard. You mailed it. The receiver did not receive it. Did the postperson like the card so much they kept it for themself? Was it delivered to the wrong address and no one wants to put it back to be redelivered? Postcard where are you?!
I live in Toronto, Canada with my son and our cat Pugsley.
On October 8th/2015 my son and I adopted Pugsley who had been abandon in a bus shelter with his sister at approximately three weeks old. Pugsley's name comes from the Addams Family show/movies.
He loves to sleep in the bathroom sink and climb into the fridge. He does loves shoes, paper, glasses, plastic bottles, etc... The only way I know how to describe him is he can be affectionate at times and ADHD during other periods of time.
My son and I have had other pets -
-a Japanese Fighting fish named Mr Tralfaz
-a female dog who was 1/2 German Shepard 1/2 Golden Retriever; she lived to be 12 1/2 yrs old. Tia was all black with short hair like the German Shepard and webbed feet. She loved to swim.
-a female cat named Rosie who lived to be 8 yrs old. She thought she was a dog. Rosie only grew up with Tia.
We babysat a Guinea pig for a month over the Christmas/New Year New's Holiday from my son's daycare - what a huge mistake. It drove Tia crazy, which drove us crazy.
Things I like to do -
-of course Postcrossing :) If a Postcrosser chooses one of my postcards as a Favourite, I will read your profile. I want to see who you are.
-I like to spend time with friends, watch a good movie and swim.
-Watch American Football games
-I volunteer on two committees for Canadian Mental Health Association(CMHA)
- I create my own Mandala designs
I have traveled mostly within Canada.
Within Ontario the most non-touristy place I have been was Moosonee. You can only get there by train called the Polar Express. It was a lot of fun.
In Toronto the best tourist place I enjoyed was Ripley's Aquarium. I felt like I was under the sea. It was amazing.
Provinces I have been to - British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
Other places I have been to - Barbados, New York City, Disney World in Florida USA, Frankenmuth, Michigan USA, Mackinac Island, Michigan USA and if you love Christmas visit Bronners World's Largest Christmas Store - https://www.bronners.com/
