I have lived in England, Mauritius and France. I love everything DIY related, cooking, reading, and puns. I am greatly interested in understanding different cultures: what to do and what not do when you meet someone from a certain country, what activities make you a typical or untypical American/Jamaican/Frenchman and also the idiomatic expressions that make up a language. I like colourful cards and I love knowing why the sender has chosen a particular card for me.

Here are some ideas of cards that I would love to receive:
-environmental cards (about being green!)
-book covers: I love Jane Austen, Harry Potter and murder mysteries in particular
-film posters (no Tarantino or horror movies please!)
-waterfalls, lakes or rivers
-art
-forests and trees
-DIY: knitting, sewing, origami...
-WWII
-postboxes
-beautiful drawings
-old-fashioned advert postcards (Coca Cola, etc)

I am not a fan of cards with several pictures of a town on them as well as the town's name. I would rather receive original cards that mean something to you!

I also hope you will write something on your card: other languages than English or French are great, but please include a translation! If you don't know what to write, you can tell me what a typical day where you live is like :)
