My name is Natalie and I’m 36 years old. I’m married for almost 10 years now. I work on a primary school in my town were I coordinate the education for the children with special educational needs.

I like to cook, dance and having fun with friends.
We travelled to a few countries outside Europe: Sri Lanka, Cuba (both impressive), the Maldives (beautiful, hot and relaxing), New York (fantastic!!!) and New Zealand (beautiful).

In 2012 we adopted our son from Luoyang (Henan) China. With the adoption we also have China in our hearts :-)! We like to know more about the Chinese culture (are already reading a lot of it), so I hope to receive some postcards from China!!
We hope to be able to adopt an other child from China. We are now on the waiting-list.
My favorite themes for postcards:
- Something in relation to my personal likings (cooking, dancing, travelling)
- Old streets, old houses, doors/windows
- Artcarts of one of the Impressionists; Degas, Monet, etc.
- China (where do you live, what does your name mean)
- Buddha
- People (f.e. beautiful pictures)
- Good, short sentences about love or other themes to think about

I'm not so fond of multi-picture-cards, Ad-cards or cats/dogs.

When you send me a postcard I like you to tell me something about yourself, your culture (especially Chinese culture) or something in the news/a book/a movie that impressed you.
Or just something else you want to write....if it is at least more than just 'greetings' of 'happy postcrossing'.
