About Jennie...

My name is Jennie. I work as the OHS (Safety) Manager at a TAFE (Technical & Further Education College) in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. I moved to Geelong from Adelaide, South Australia in mid 2009. Geelong is on the coast about a 1 hour train ride from the capital city of Melbourne and is the largest country town in Victoria.

I have been collecting postcards since I was in my teens. A friend who I met many years ago in high school corresponds regularly with me by postcard. She told me about post crossing.

In my spare time I do scrapbooking, gardening, looking at different local tourist locations, volunteering at motor sport events plus going to the movies and live theatre.

I keep in touch with my family and interstate friends via facebook.

I like postcards that can be bright in colour, or peaceful, or inspiring. No envelope please. I would like a stamp and writing on the post card. Please check my favourites to get an idea of what I like. Also, the themes I like include ones on:
* theatre,festivals
* doors, windows, lights, painted ceilings
* beach or the sea. Especially ones with buildings or a light house in the background
* paintings, sculpture, all types of art
* cartoon type pictures
* adverts postcards, especially ones from universities or scholarships
* medical/ health/ safety topics
* political
* transport/ aviation
* christmas or other religious festivals (any time of the year)

In your postcard text, why not tell me about something that you have enjoyed doing this year or a journey that you would like to take.

#I don't send postcards in an envelope, unless they are very old or handmade, because that's against the very nature of a postcard. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postcard
# If your profile is blank, I stick my hand into my postcard box and pick a random card for you.

Please remember that if you would like me to register your postcard quickly that you need to send it by airmail.
