Hello!

My name is Victoria. I'm neurobiology scientist from Saint-Petersburg, Russia and interested in foreign cultures and other countries' life. I think neither books and films can tell about cities and countries as well as people do. Postcrossing is a good way to get know something new!

I have many hobbies and interests.
The thing I like to do the most is dancing. I have been dancing for twelve years, have tried six styles: folk, sport, R&B, hip-hop, contemporary, pole dance - and won't stop.
Also, I love reading. My favourite writers are J. D. Salinger, Ray Bradbury, A. Conan Doyle, Astrid Lindgren, Tove Jansson, J. K. Rowling, C. S. Lewis, ... I just can't make a full list!
Handcraft has a great importance for me. I always prefer to create gifts for my relatives and friends by myself.
I like cartoons as strong as my siblings like, but films too. Moreover, I like music, theatre and ballet.
There are only three languages I'm studying now, but I want to know more than five in cause I think that language is very important part of every culture.
A big travel with my friends is my beautiful dream.

I am a scientist and think that science work not only useful but exciting and fun sometimes.
