About Maude...

Hi!
I'm 27 years old and I live in Alsace, the most beautiful region of France (yes, I'm being 100% objective!). I love books (serious case of book addict here), hiking, fitness, travelling, music, and much more. Life is full of possibilities!

Things I like:
- autumn sceneries
- mountains
- forests
- lakes, cascades
- old, ruined castles
- cats
- wildlife (esp. foxes, badgers, deers, owls, squirrels and lynxes)
- windows, staircases
- snow
- books
- maps
- mailboxes
- quotes (I'd be happy with cards reading quotes in your language - with translation provided on the back, of course)
- fantasy (esp. dragons and elves)
- Harry Potter
- tea, coffee
- piano
- metal music (esp. symphonic, melodeath, and Neue Deutsche Härte)
- candles, sweaters, anything cozy
- Victorian era, steampunk
- Northern Lights

If you have a favourite artist, I'd gladly receive a card featuring one of their drawings! Don't forget to mention the name of the artist if it isn't written on the card, of course :)

If you could avoid sending city views (or any kind of "tourist" cards), black and white cards, advertisment cards and "fun" cards, that'd be very appreciated. Thank you!

And please, write a bit more than just "Hi from *country*" on the back of the card! You can tell me about your day, the last book you've read, your favourite band, the best place you've ever visited... Anything! Unleash your imagination! :D

Last thing: please send the card within an envelope! It protects the card during its journey, and I love the little "suspense" before opening the envelope ;)

Thank you! Have a wonderful day!

PS: Most of my cards are sent from Germany. Sorry for those who'd like to add some French stamps to their collection, but postage costs are much cheaper there!

PS-2: I am into penpalling as well (exchanging letters). If you are a long letter writer and would be interested in writing with me, feel free to contact me :)
