Hi!

My name is Liewsee and I am from Penang (Pulau Pinang), Malaysia.

Penang is also known as the "Pearl of the Orient", though its name in the Malay Language means "Isle of the Betel Nut". Probably because betel nut trees were in abundance back then.

I like crime and thriller fiction but I also read other genres. My favourite are the books on Anne Gable, books by James Herriot and PG Wodehouse among others. Recently I read Jonas Jonasson's second book which I find witty and hilarious at times.

Crafts and arts interest me; I have done cross-stitch, crotchet, ribbon flowers, origami, needle felting, doll-making, felt arts, beads craft, and many others that I hope to try, such as macrame and quilling.

I garden, bake and use to be active in hiking. I like watching Japanese anime, Japanese and Korean dramas, though not the soapy types.

I am also interested in history and stories, too.
