I am just returning to Postcrossing after a span of inactivity because of work but I am newly retired and ready to ease back into it. Previously I was involved with Postcrossing for 4 years and really enjoyed connecting with people around the world.

I am not too fussy about the kind of card I receive. Original art and your photograph postcards are welcome, I love dogs (I have 4 Tibetan Terriers of my own, they may make it on some of the postcards I send out) and most other animals too, just maybe nothing TOO touristy. I love painters as well and love to see your favourites. In any case I am excited to receive any card you would like to send. Tell me a little bit about yourself, where you live, a favourite quote or saying, even a joke.

I live just outside of Calgary, Alberta with my husband and the dogs. Our two daughters are grown up and have flown the coop and we now have a one year old grandson.

A VERY long time ago when I was in Brownies (Girl Guides) I collected postcards for my Collectors Badge so here I am, MANY years later, collecting postcards again. Who would have thought.

When I was clearing out my parents house last year I found my old postcard collection, I was very surprised to find that my mother had kept it all these years. It was very heart warming <3.

I started a personal photography project for 2013 (which I put on hold and plan on resurrecting) to challenge myself both as a photographer and an individual. It is my take on a 100 Strangers photography project. I have decided to photograph '100 Pets and the People They Love'. They all have to be strangers to me and they won't just be dogs, I hope to capture the relationship between lots of other four legged friends and their people too.
