Dear Postcrossers,

I live in one of the best cities in the world (which I haven't seen far enough of, so I'm sure there's better ;-) ). I love to travel (if only there were time!), to read (fiction, my favourite is Murakami since quite some years), to dance, to cook (food of all cultures)...I enjoy interior design and am looking to personalise my house with your postcards. I love oysters, sushi, warm days with a slight breeze (NOT the dutch harsh wind), meaningful encounters, words that make me think, poppies, Truth, singing and dancing and, above all, to laugh.

I would love:
- Drawings/illustrations (herbarium-like, or some children's book illustrations - check my favourites, for example) drawings
- Black and white images of people or situations involving people (like the photos of Henri Besson, for example)
- local food (if you are from a colourful country - maybe also with text - drawings - recipe -> esPECIALLY asian cute food cards with sushi or dumplings or such. Want them in my kitchen!!)
- photos or cards made by you (of you're good or an artist or just creative and you love to share)
- any images that make a person dream of the story behind
- People with books - reading - or writing
- Drawings of Chinese or Japanese women, old style
- If you're Japanese/Taiwanese/Chinese/Korean: I love typical illustrations (also cute cartoons) or, if you are Japanese, anything that has to do with Haruki Murakami, so with any of that I'd be very happy...
- Doors and windows
- Books and libraries
- Poetry and book covers
- or surprise me, of course. I love surprises...

If you're still at a loss...please check my favourites wall. The cards there are the ones I received and liked best and also some cards I did not get but liked, just so you get an idea of the style I like.

What I like less is touristic postcards - the standard ones - and I will always read people's profiles carefully and I will try to send you what you wish to receive most.
As with gifts to people, I usually only buy cards that I would love to receive myself (apart from the touristy ones which I buy because some people adore them, although they don't mean much to me), so check my sent list too..if you want...

Now about what to write. If you can, please write me:
1) Your favourite quote or line from a book/poem/movie/person/family member/whatever of all times (maybe it has influenced you) or an entire poem, if you're into poetry
or - if you feel like sharing
2) What's your biggest dream that has not come true yet?
However, if you don't like to be pushed into writing something....just write anything you like, of course. Write about your biggest secret, for example ;-)

Kind request: If you really really like my postcard please put it as a favourite, even if you usually put only cards you don't have as favourites...I do the same.
