My name is Marieke and I live in the Netherlands. The name of the town is Houten, and that is close to Utrecht, one of the big cities of the Netherlands.

I like cats and horses, love to read, run every week, I'm married en have two kids. We do have one cat, his name is Teig (like Tiger, but short Tig).

I also love books en if you have a booktitle of a book you love, please let me know. Maybe I wil read it this year.

The fun of getting mail is that I never know when a card is in my mailbox, and it's a surprise what's on it, where it's coming from en what's written on it. I love it.

So, any card will do, but when you need some inspiration:

- I Discovered by postcrossing that I love cards with drawings from illustrators. So when you find a card with a beautifull drawing or painting from an illustrator from your country, it's very wellcome with me!

- Illustrations from Irina Zenyuk (Blue cat)

- I like cards with animals, (especially Foxes, Cats, Horses, Giraf, Pandabear, wild animals)

- cards about reading en books

- Bob the streetcat (from the novel and the movie)

- I do like Escher and Anne Geddes.

I really love the drawing! Specially with horse and cat, or animals.

I'm not very fond of tourist cards.

I do not prefer Religious cards.
