I'm in my fourties (but still feeling like 21 years old). I'm a journalist, working in the newspaper. I adore cats and have two. My hobbies since childhood have been scouting, reading and penpalling. If you also like to write letters via snailmail and would like to have a penpal from Finland, just let me know. The newer hobbies are geocaching, postcrossing, different kind of sports, going to theatre and so on.

All kind of cards are welcome, but especially I'd like to see
* views from the place you're living
* some historical places from your country
* the card made by yourself would be a great surprise
* a postcard with a picture related to scouts would be nice
* Morris Mini (that old English car, like the one Mr. Bean has - mine is orange and yearmodel is 1970)
* Lada cards to cheer my fiancé
* colorful cards with some humour on them - make me laughing :)
* ginger cats
* How about sending the most boring postcard you can find? A card which made you wondering "why they have published this card?" That could be funny too :)

Wondering what to write? You could for example
* tell funny stories about your pets
* write a joke
* tell me what was your dream occupation in childhood - and what you're doing now when you're older
* recommend a book that you've liked and I might like as well
* is your name (first name or last name) typical or rare in your country? Do you like your name or would you like to be called something else? Or maybe you've even changed your name for some reason. In Finland Minna is a very common name for the girls born in 1970's. I have always had lots of namesakes around. On the other hand my last name is rare and I hardly ever get it spelled right :)
* what street do you live? Are all the streets on the area named around the same theme (flowers, animals, cars, historical persons...)?
