About Michi...

I am not a daily basis postcrosser, but as you see at the statistic, receiving and getting is pretty equal. Yes, I register your postcard immediately, when it arrives.

I'm Michi, I live in Duebendorf near Zurich, Switzerland, planet earth.
I like my computer, to lie in the sun on my balcony, my kitchen with its stove, wine, beer and all kind of people, as long as they are open minded and take the others as they are.
Once I had a chipmunk, which I called Franz Ferdinand. He lived five years with me in my apartment (considering the place as his apartment and just tolerating me; one can not really tame such an animal) and then he did not wake up from hibernating in the fifth year. He passed away.
Postcards? With more words than just "happy postcrossing". Tell me something about you, your country or a thought, you had today. If you prefer not to write about yourself, tell me why you chose this particular postcard, or what temperature it is in your city right now.

All kinds of postcards are welcome and I am not picky. Just ask yourself, whether you would like to receive the postcard, you are sending me. If yes, everything is fine…

Specially:

- self made - art - rodents - gold - beer - libraries - keep calm - or have a look on my favorites

And if you have a beautiful stamp for postage, it is considered as the icing on the cake.

How I see postcrossing:
I press on a button and get an address. To there I send a postcard with some words about me and my life and somebody else press the button on the other end of the world and send me a postcard too. That’s it. Nothing else. Just postcrossing...
What's in a name? If you write it easy readable, I appreciate to call you by your name, when I register your postcard :)
About the Avatar: It shows me in a pub in Manchester UK. Captured in the afternoon, when pubs are almost empty and it is quiet and not crowded….
