Hello Postcrossers! I'm Michelle, I'm 36 years old and live in Antwerp, Belgium together with my husband and my cat Poeftie.

Antwerp is one of the biggest towns in Belgium, but Belgium itself is very small (at least it seems that way). I grew up in a very small village in the province of Limburg, where everyone knew each other and was very kind. Antwerp is different, but has so many beautiful spots to discover. I'm an art historian with a specialisation in architecture. In daily life, I work for the city of Leuven as a heritage counselor (monument care). My biggest ambition in life however is to be happy, live freely and travel as much as I can. I love meeting new people, I love getting to know people from other cultures and countries and am super interested in everything you can tell me about the place where you live or what drives you in life. It would be great f.e. if you can write about the most beautiful place in your city/country you've ever visited or about someone or something that inspires you every day.

I collect vintage and colorful interior decoration and furniture and am always on the lookout for great new shops or styles! Other hobbies are reading (tips always welcome), writing and crafting. I can talk about all of these things for hours. Oh and space, i love space. And fantasy. And unicorns, glitter and rainbows :D

I'm also a Greenpeace activist and am very concerned about our planet and our fauna and flora. I cannot watch a nature documentary without crying. I absolutly adore all animals and hope they'll survive us, I try to convince everyone of the importance of this.
