About Meoyaime...

Hello everyone,

I'm truly glad to be a part of this community - in this day and age of computers and smartphones it's almost a wonder to receive a cosy piece of paper in one's mailbox. So, let's create some tiny everyday miracles together :)

A few ideas of what could make my mailbox and myself very happy:

- Words from your favourite piece of poetry
- Favourite quote from a favourite book
- Simple things that warm your heart (maybe a cup of coffee on the bench in a park while it's raining and you're sitting under a huge umbrella with your best friend?)
- Words that inspire you to go on when life feels sad and grey
- One thing that made you smile today
- A YouTube link to your favourite song

As for the card itself:
- Artwork in general (especially impressionism, pre-raphaelite, art nouveau, art deco, fauvism; Marc Chagall, Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, René Magritte, Vincent van Gogh, Johannes Vermeer, Amedeo Modigliani, Salvador Dali, Lucien Levy-Dhurmer, El Greco, Frank Cadogan, Erté, William Turner, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Gustav Klimt, Vilhelm Hammershoi, George Barbier, Alphonse Mucha, Anne Siems, etc.)
- Artwork that is specific to your country
- Cards by Rosina Wachtmeister, Inge Löök, Lennart Helje, Susan Wheeler, Makoto Muramatsu, Gorjuss, Gaelle Boissonnard, Inga Paltser, Anna Silivonchik
- Images that reflect Arabic, Indian, Japanese, French cultures
- Images depicting the work of Antoni Gaudí or simply images of Barcelona
- Cards with vintage fairy tale illustrations (Edmund Dulac, Arthur Rackham, Walter Crane, Beatrix Potter, etc.)
- Vintage "Vogue" covers by Helen Dryden
- Creative photography (esp. Robert Doisneau, Léonard Misonne, Alfred Stieglitz)
- "The Little Prince", "Alice in Wonderland", "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain"
- Anything connected to theatre, opera, music
- Anything slightly surreal, strange but charming at the same time (such as Michael Sowa's work)
- Anything with polka dots, teapots, umbrellas
- Cats (including Jetoy), foxes, Shiba Inu dogs, moose, hedgehogs, bears, elephants, wolves
- Please no ad cards.
- I would also prefer to not receive tourist / multiview cards. If you absolutely must send one - it's fine, but otherwise please keep them for people on this site who love receiving that type of cards. Thank you!

It would be great if you could also write the date on the card.

... and lots of bright sunlight to the one reading this right now.
