Hello! My name is Meg, and I live in Vancouver, British Columbia. I'm originally from Hamilton, Ontario (near Toronto), but I moved to Vancouver last year to work on my Master's at the University of British Columbia where I'm studying English Literature. Some of my favourite things are being with my friends and family, hiking, reading, drawing and painting, snuggling in my bed, and dogs. I also like to travel (I lived in England for six months to go to school at the University of Leeds, stayed on a farm in Ireland for a summer, and visited Australia and New Zealand with my family) -- I'm hoping to do more travelling in the future, and I'm excited about Postcrossing as a way to see and hear a little bit from different places and people around the world...

Some things I especially love to see on postcards are:
-paintings (especially watercolours)
-book covers or illustrations
-colourful patterns or designs
-black and white photographs
-animals (especially dogs!)
-trees, plants, flowers and gardens
-pictures or paintings of rooms/furniture/houses
-everyday scenes like children playing, people eating/working/travelling

... but I will be so happy with any postcard at all that you send!
