I am a woman who has just turned 60 and I live in eastern Finland in Kuopio. My family includes my husband and two adult children, a daughter and a son.

I collect power phrases and thoughts, they have become very important to me. After slowly starting to recover from chronic exhaustion after 3 years of illness, I noticed that they spoke to me and helped me understand myself.

I love cats but my husband is allergic to them.
Thats why I follow a few cats on Instagram: Phineas, Lilith and Kona. Of course, I also look at the publications of other cats, but less.

Small scale my hobby is photography. I like to photograph everything possible that catches my attention while walking outside: flowers, beautifully shaped rocks, trees, dewdrops on leaves, landscapes both on land and at the lake/sea. I think that walking by the water is very relaxing.

I knit and crochet, but in this time less than normally, because I have had big health problems in last 3 years.

I have read a lot since I was a child. I have always been a big consumer of books. After being sick for 2 years, I started to try audiobooks and now I listen to e.g. feelgood books and detective stories a lot.

I also like puzzles a lot. As a child, I always got a puzzle as a Christmas present, and then the whole family did it on Christmas holidays. Today, my daughter and I do a puzzle when she visits home. After getting sick with exhaustion, I have noticed that it is much more difficult to visualize the pieces than before I got sick.

I have always loved music. My taste in music is quite broad, my husband and I have been going to Pori Jazz for about 15 years. I probably like melodic rock the most (eg Muse, Coldplay, The Script, Daughtry). I also like to listen to e.g. Adele, Dire Straits, Queen, One Republic, Ed Sheeran. When I was young I played the accordion, nowadays the accordion just collects dust in the closet.
Every year I look forward to watching the Eurovision Song Contest. The first Eurovision I watched was 1974 and Abba won then. Since then I have been following the Eurovision Song Contest. This year (2023) is especially delicious when Finland is represented by Käärijä with his song Cha Cha cha.
