My name is Maria. I was born in the North, in the Komi Republic (this is Russia). I grew up in a small old village. Now I live in Syktyvkar, the capital of Komi, but I often go to my parents to the village.

I am 28 years old, chief editor of a youth magazine in the Komi language. I want to see young people, who speaks in Komi language more often. This is a very beautiful language.

I am currently learning English (so please write simple sentences so that I can understand them). I am interested in many things: shooting at a shooting range, swimming, drawing, designing magazines, growing flowers at home, reading books.

Unfortunately, I do not have the opportunity to travel often, but I like everything new, cities and villages, nature, people.
