Hello world!
My name is Maria, or Marysia.
I am 30 years old.

I have philological education. I really enjoy reading. It is difficult to choose one favourite author, but for example ... Oscar Wilde, Jack Kerouac, France Kafka, Vladimir Nabokov, Italo Calvino.

I love to spend time outdoors. I do not mean a walk in the forest park. I mean being away from civilization for a long time when around you is only forest, sky and water. From early childhood and to 18 years my family and I spent every summer in Karelia (it is in the north of Russia near Finland, and the nature of it reminds Canada) almost at the Arctic Circle. About two months we lived in a forest on the shores of Lake Tiksha in the wooden fishing hut.We swam in a real fishing boat, that was built by my grandfather. We ate something that we found in the forest and water themselves.

And since my childhood I really love figure skating. I mean the sport, not any Ice Show. I always watching the events in the world of ice and try not to miss any serious tournament.
I do not know whether there is such a theme of postcards. But if they are, and you send me a postcard, I'll be enormously happy!

I recently became a mother. It changed all my life. I liked to hitchhike earlier, go to music festivals on open air, and to be on vacation at sea in a tent. I was in hiking kayaking and rock climbing. I was ride a bicycle. Now we sit with my daughter at home, I have knitting, and she wants to learn to walk.
And we will be happy to send and receive postcards.

And also, please do not send me cards showing cruelty to animals.
