About Marta...
Hello Dear Postcrosser!
My name’s Marta, I'm a happy 24 years old polish student of Russian and English studies. I really enjoy projects like postcrossing, where you can make something special for the other person and send not only a piece of paper, but a part of your soul. It’s really nice to read some warm words, know something new about different country, its culture and people as well.
I appreciate written and stamped postcards, where you write something more than only ‘Happy Postcrossing’, share your ideas, interests, favourite quote/book/song etc., tell me about you, what do you do and a place where you’re currently living – it will be pleasure to read about it! I’m not against postcards inside envelopes, but only if they are written. I think that sending one postcard abroad it’s not so cheap and it shows what kind of person you are so please: be creative and respond my requests if it’s only possible.
I would be absolutely grateful to receive postcards like: * Art (typical of the country and modern) * Unique * Illustrated * Painted * Graphic * Black & White * Vintage * Comix * Varia * Seasonal * With funny texts and pictures * With non-latin letters/signs/words/ (like Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew etc.)* With Alphabets * With Quotes * Music (instruments, notes) * Tea or Coffee * Your national culture *
PLEASE: If you can, don't send me postcards like:
- Multiple view
- With view of your city
- From your holidays
- Advertised
- Christmas/Easter etc.
- Erotic/Offensive
- Not stamped & Unwritten
I speak Polish (as a native), English and Russian so it will be a pleasure to read in these languages! It also would be really nice to read something in your native language with a translation :)
And... Here is my short postcrossing policy:
1. I register cards on the day they arrive.
2. I send my cards in one or two days after getting new address.
3. I send my cards written and stamped.
4. I don't register cards I haven't received.
Best greetings from Poland and Happy Postcrossing!
