Hi there!

My name is Lisa and I joined postcrossing because I love sending and receiving letters. Postcards are great because you can personalize them, finding the perfect card is a big part of the fun! :)

I studied religion and archaeology at university and now I'm focusing on work in museums and archives. I'm passionate about many different things and am always reading books to learn more.

Books in general are my biggest passion; collecting them, organizing them and of course reading them. My favorite books are science fiction, children's adventure stories and anything about the history of science and (arctic) exploration. For some reason I am also obsessed with whales (Moby Dick!). Graphic novels are also a favorite of mine, because I love good illustrations.

Any type postcard is very welcome, including home made cards and holiday cards:) As mentioned I love illustrations, so a card with an illustration on it (or your own art) would be amazing. Things I love include:
-Swimming
-Walking through nature with an audio book or music on
-Plants and botanical illustrations
-Whales and seals
-Space and space exploration
-Geology and paleontology
-Anything science(fiction)
-Fairy tales or children's books
-Museums and exhibits/collections
-Reading and cosy vibes
-Anything seasonal

In December I would love to receive a Christmas / holiday card or anything with a comfy winter theme!

One of the great things about postcrossing is that you can experience other places and learn from other people without having to travel there. Perhaps you can tell me something about yourself and what you are obsessed with right now! It would also be great if you can give me a recommendation for a book or (board)game you've loved recently!
