Hello,
I've been enjoying postcrossing since more than two years and although there are times I am more active than others I always love picking, writing and receiving beautiful postcards.
We live in Mainz in the middle of Germany near the beautiful Rhine River. I am interested in other countries and fascinated by different cultures. In the past I have travelled quite a lot and lived for a longer time in India, Ireland and the USA.
At the moment our three kids (two boys of 7 and 12 and a girl of 14) are keeping us quite busy, so I am looking forward to get a lot of glimpses of other lifes and places through your postcards.

My hobbies are taking photographs, cycling, walking, reading, music, friends and family.
For me it is very enjoyable to awaken young peoples' interest in the world and to help them express themselves not only in German. As a language teacher I have a lot of opportunities to do this :)

As each person, country, life, language is different I am especially looking forward to reading from you about yourself, your country and what matters to you. What makes YOU happy? What do you enjoy about life and where you are living?
I like a lot of postcards, especially I love the sea (the wilder the better), art Pictures (from Stone Age to modern), inspiring recipes, black and white, old postcards, wild animals, children and also nature or typical things from your place. Nice creative self made cards are welcome too or any card which has a special meaning to you and is close to your heart. Could you write a sentence in your language? Thank you.
