Hello,
Postcrossing is a truly inspired idea. Writing letters is one of my favorite things to do and I love to send and receive mail. The feeling of an actual postcard or letter in your hand is so much better than opening an electronic mailbox and finding a message there. In much the same way I love reading books (as opposed to ebooks), because the sensation of the paper in your hand adds something that the electronic version simply cannot put across.
Besides writing letters and reading books, there are many other things I enjoy and that I am interested in. Spending time with family and friends, English literature, classical music and nature are very important in my life. I also love meditating, cooking and especially baking.

For those of you who would like a suggestion for a type of postcard: beautiful landscapes, sculpture, art in general, birds, interesting quotes, cultural expressions from your country, anything to do with music, mystical sites, creatures from myth and fantasy.
But it would be especially nice to receive something that touches/amuses/interests you, the sender of the postcard. That way I will learn something about you and that would be a wonderful way of connecting to other people around the world.
