Dear Postcrosser,

Hi, my name is Marianne, I live in Zwaag, which is close to the beautiful VOC city Hoorn. Proud mother of a son Maarten (19) and owner of two cats: Elmootje (17) and Moos (7). Moos I adopted a few months ago. I work as a management assistant at an accounting firm.

During the past three years, I sent (with my niece Marry) postcards for and on behalf of our aunt Corrie who lived in a nursing home. Unfortunately, we recently had to say goodbye to her for good. She just didn't reach the 100 years. In May 2016 Postcrossing posted a blog about her because she was one of the oldest Postcrossers at that time. In her honor I continue her account, but under my own name and avatar. But of course also because Postcrossing is just fun!
